She/Her (LGBTQIA+ Affirming)

Hi, I’m Stephanie Thom, an Associate Professional Counselor at Living Fully!

I believe that we deserve to live a meaningful and fulfilled life, where we feel at peace in whatever situation we find ourselves, while learning to navigate through the challenges life throws at us. My therapeutic approach is direct, nonjudgmental, patient and empathic discussing your past from childhood to present, and uncovering distorted thinking patterns and discovering other perspectives. My aim is to collaborate with you to achieve your goals and create a life you want to live.

I believe that everyone can change, heal and grow at any time in life. I don't believe that there is a limit to human capacity regardless of background or trauma. No one is beyond hope. I think the main reason we develop roadblocks, confusion or even mental illness is because of unhealthy learned behaviors and thoughts that we have been conditioned to believe are true.

I am very passionate about helping people know and appreciate who they really are, and not what painful experiences have conditioned you to believe you should be. It is my hope that after understanding how the past has shaped the current, and presses on the future, you can heal from it, move forward, and we can work together and start to create who you want to be. You can contact me directly at stephaniethom@livingfullytherapy.com.
